Miss Abi Jay: on being Jewish and Intersex

 

Abi Jay was born in North Middlesex and comes from Polish and Russian descent. Her family was relatively orthodox and attended United Synagogue. Abi is the first recorded Jewish intersex person in the UK. She had gender reassignment surgery, describes herself as bisexual and lives happily in London writing her autobiography.
